I've been thinking about starting a blog for a while now. When I get around to taking my bucket list trip in a year or two, I thought it would be fun to blog about my journey. On that trip, I'll visit all the major league baseball stadiums (and attend a game) that I haven't already been to. I'll do this in my RV and if I see a sign for the world's largest ball of string I'm going to stop and see the world's largest ball of string. When I took trips during my working life, I never had the time to stop at the fun little roadside attractions being in such a hurry to get where I was going. This trip is for me to take in as much of the country as possible. I also plan to stop at quilt shops and check out vegetarian options around the country. I figured it would make an interesting blog and a great way for me to document my trip.
In the mean time, I've been doing a lot of quilting and reading and watching tv and I want to share some of my thoughts on those things. Over the last couple of years, I've been doing the Table Rock Quilt Guild newsletter and found that I enjoyed writing it and figured a blog would be a good way for me to flex those writing muscles as well as keep sharp by learning about blog land. So I'm going to give this a shot and see what I can do. Hope you like some of the stuff you see here.
